It’s nearly impossible to find books for young people that aren’t overly simple or preachy. This can be especially challenging when dealing with issues of climate or sustainability. Beyond the compelling illustrations, it’s the clear and hopeful voice of this book I found so encouraging. I also felt the author’s heart which felt very real.
